Please be advised that, due to a power outage, the Village’s backup generator did not remain operational for the duration of the outage. As a precautionary measure, the Village of Belle Plaine is under a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory until further notice.
Residents are advised to bring all water used for drinking, cooking, preparing food, brushing teeth, or making ice to a rolling boil for at least one minute before use.
The Village has begun the required water sampling process. The advisory will remain in effect until satisfactory test results have been received and authorization has been granted to lift the advisory.
